I should have paid attention more before going to sleep last night. On my newsletter site, I started getting messages on the chatbox that some people are unable to access the website. I thought maybe it was just a cache problem on their side, so I told them to clear it and get back to me in the morning. I also checked Twitter quickly before going to sleep and I saw a few people talking about Sitemeter. Oh well, I’ll let them sort it out, I thought, and went to bed.
This morning when I checked my email, I found a few more email messages regarding not being able to access some of my blogs. What the heck is going on? First thing I did was check my host provider to see if they were down. Everything was fine there. I also noticed when I checked my AdSense earnings for yesterday that it was nil! $0.02! I knew there was something seriously wrong. Luckily, I am following some pretty smart bloggers on Twitter and found out that it’s a problem with sitemeter and older versions of IE.
Then while writing this post, looking for sitemeter codes on my templates and pretending to clean the house, I got a twitter reply from another blogger who let me know that Sitemeter is back up except for some problems with the stats page. Whew!! Now I can relax again.
Hmmm, you think my husband will still buy the excuse that I didn’t clean the house because I was taking care of a blogging crisis involving sitemeter?

That’s a very valid excuse! LOL. I’m still doing laundry tonight because Amazon got new toys in that I *HAD* to get added onto a page immediately. Priorities, you know!
